The Opportunity: As Country Manager Netherlands, you'll lead Emaldo's expansion, owning P&L, strategy, team building, and sales. With high autonomy, you'll drive market growth and brand leadership in solar and battery storage. Full-time role based in Amsterdam with travel as needed. Market Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for Emaldo's solar and battery storage solutions in the Netherlands. Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and potential partnerships or distribution channels. Financial Management (P&L Ownership) Own the country P&L, setting and managing budgets to meet revenue, profit, and growth targets. Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies to ensure profitability. Team Building & Management Recruit, lead, and develop a local team across sales, customer service, technical support, and administration. Cultivate a positive, entrepreneurial culture aligned with Emaldo's mission and values. Sales & Business Development Drive sales strategy, strengthen customer and partner relationships, and achieve growth targets. Represent Emaldo in industry networks, trade fairs, and conferences. Operations & Quality Ensure high-quality installations, training, and customer support. Optimize supply chain, inventory management, and regulatory compliance. Proven Experience in Solar and Battery Storage Minimum 5+ years in renewable energy, with strong experience in solar PV and battery storage. Proven track record in commercial or operational leadership (e.g., GM, Commercial/Sales Director). Leadership & P&L Responsibility P&L management experience, with the ability to set targets, manage budgets, and drive growth. Skilled in building, scaling, and leading high-performing teams. Market & Commercial Acumen Understanding of the Dutch renewable energy market, including policy landscape, incentive programs, and competitive environment. Strong business development skills, including deal-making and strategic partnerships. Operational & Technical Understanding Experience overseeing technical support, installations, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with supply chain, logistics, and financial controls in a product-driven business. Communication & Personal Attributes Excellent leadership, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluent in English and Dutch. Entrepreneurial, results-driven, adaptable, and highly customer-focused. Competitive Compensation Package – Base salary, performance-based bonus tied to country P&L, and benefits. Expected salary: approx. €10,000 (incl. local employment tax).
