We aim to expand thinking and advance understanding, providing academics and professionals with a platform to share their work and realize their individual potential.Job DescriptionOur client, a leading international academic publishing company is currently looking for a research integrity assistant to work closely with their Publishing Ethics & Integrity team across a variety of STM journals.Key responsibilities:Work closely with the team to drive research integrity investigationsCheck articles for integrity of authorship, content, data and key ethics statements.Assist the ethics team with contacting authors and assessing files requested from authorsWhere required, assist in identifying experts to provide advice on specific articlesWork with the ethics team and editorial teams on organising post-publication notices.Handle confidential information confidently and sensitively, with consideration for the legal and ethical issues that may arise from any mishandlingQualificationsResearch background in a relevant disciplineEditorial experience in assessing scientific manuscripts for quality and integrity of contentStrong understanding of various research methods and practicesAwareness of global research and publishing ethics issuesAwareness of required journal editorial standardsExperience in project managementStrong numerical and verbal reasoning skillsExcellent communication skills
