We are working with a global financial institution to recruit an experienced project manager to work as part of a core central Program Management Team charged with ensuring the timely execution of deliverables across all workstreams. The candidate must be an individual experienced in project management and with sufficient subject matter expertise in markets products and business lines to be able to provide meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable and stand as the SME in this space.Key responsibilities:Work across transformation/ change management/ project experience with a focus on Capital Markets initiatives to address regulatory, audit, risk and control and / or risk management issuesOperate in a front-to-back markets business and offer SME advice and knowledge of regulatory capital, Market Risk and Finance (Product Control)Management of test phases, making use of tools including JIRAAssist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or levelManage internal and external dependencies across initiatives, including working closely with Risk Managers, Product Owners, Front Office, Product Control and Technology teamsIdentify challenges and proactively seek to resolve or escalate risk and issues in a timely and well-articulated manner to the projects by engaging relevant stakeholders and PMsEngage senior stakeholders continuously by escalating and resolving issues as they ariseProduce accurate and insightful project update materials and artifacts, tailoring to various forums and committeesTo be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills/experience: Minimum of 10 years of project management experienceMinimum of 10 years of relevant industry experienceExperience with FRTB specifically around FX Delta and FX Risk managementExperience with trading, risk and P&L flowsA strong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essentialSME knowledge of Capital Markets TransformationSignificant experience in scoping, developing and prioritizing plans for strategic initiativesA solid understanding of mechanisms to track and communicate performanceAbility to drive change to business practices by working effectively across a global organization and understand different perspectivesThought leadership in target state design through engaging stakeholders at various levels of the organizationAlthough the role is initially until the end of the year there is a high possibility of extension. This role would require to be in the office at least 3 days per week in Belfast. We would consider someone relocating from across the UK so long as they can honour 3 days p/w office work.
