Job Title: Senior/Lead Controls & Instrumentation Engineer Location: Aberdeen/London - Hybrid/Remote LTD Rate: Circa 45 an hour Duration: 9-12 month LTD contract outside IR35. Do you have proven specialised engineering work experience within the Oil & Gas Sector (Upstream, Downstream, Pipeline and Petrochemical industry)? Have you successfully executed numerous international high-profile engineering projects with UK & international clients? This role is to support our Engineering and Project Management C&I team on an ad-hoc basis. You will :- Create and check engineering designs Responsible for ensuring designs meet project requirements Input to project plans Identify areas of concern during any project or study Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value Ability to address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore Experience on Autocad and 3D modelling Producing the below design deliverables: - Block Diagrams / Loop Diagrams / Termination Diagrams / Interconnection Diagrams / C&Es / Layout Diagrams / Cable Schedules / Hook-Up Diagrams / Material Requests / Reports / instrument index Reasonable Knowledge in Control system modification, particularly on the wiring interfaces between field instruments and between systems: - DCS/PCS/ICSS / ESD/PSD / F&G / HIPPS / Metering / UCPs Reasonable knowledge in field instrument cabling particularly: - Control valves / Shutdown Valves / Pressure Safety Valves / Flowmeters / Pressure / Transmitters / Temperature Transmitters / Level Transmitters / Switches / F&G Detectors Understanding of CE/ATEX and UKCA knowledge is essential.
