Were now looking for an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our collaborative and high-performing team in London . What Youll Be Doing Youll play a key role in delivering innovative geotechnical solutions on large-scale UK and international projects. Responsibilities include: Managing multidisciplinary assignments with technical, commercial, and financial oversight Producing and overseeing technical delivery of detailed design, design checks, and advanced analysis including FEM (e.g. PLAXIS, Z-soil) Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their Chartership journey Supporting business development by contributing to proposals and developing client relationships Driving excellence and consistency across our technical outputs Working closely with other disciplines in a collaborative, cross-functional environment What Were Looking For Were looking for someone who brings technical experience and ideally, youll have: A degree in civil engineering plus a postgraduate qualification in geotechnics or engineering geology Chartered status Experience on major infrastructure, transportation or energy projects, both in the UK and internationally Strong experience in geotechnical and engineering geological processes and design, with expertise in interpreting complex data, advanced numerical modelling, and practical design; delivery to construction Strong hands-on design capability in areas such as deep foundations, earthworks, retaining structures, soil and rock slope stability, and seismic analysis Proficiency with geotechnical software (e.g., 2D and 3D PLAXIS, WALLAP, SlopeW, LPile, gINT) A collaborative approach, with a focus on successful delivery for our clients and a desire to support others growth Whats in It for You?
