About the job Drinks Manager (Windermere) Our client has a fantastic hotel in Windermere, and they are looking for a Drinks Manager, reporting to the Resident Manager, to provide exceptional hospitality to their guests by providing knowledgeable wine recommendations, hosting wine events and ensuring the food and drink team are fully trained on wine and drinks knowledge. The client is offering live on site as an option.Your day to day:Maintaining and developing their wine service offeringDeveloping the wine list in conjunction with the General Manager, Resident Manager, and group support.You will be responsible for hotel liquor stock and stock managementDeveloping drink service and drink offering in line with the Hotel Product PlanSuggesting food and wine pairing to guest and the teamTraining of the Food and drink team in wine service, pairings, and wine knowledgeHosting and developing their wine tasting experience programme for our guestsManagement of staff working in the Bar, including managing HR processes, recruitment and development of staff, induction, and training and rota-ing. To represent the company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner at all timeWho are they looking for?
