We are thrilled to be partnering with a client who is in the market for a SITS to join their dynamic development team. As a key member of the IT department, you will collaborate with business owners and technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with the university’s architectural principles. The role involves managing new projects and making enhancements to existing business systems, overseeing them from conception through to delivery and handover to the operational team. Expertise in one or more modules of theStudent Lifecycle(Admissions, Progressions, Finance, etc.). Excellentstakeholder managementandrequirements gatheringskills. The role: Primarily focusing on developing SITS solutions, the developer will need expertise in writing and optimising SITS, with the opportunity to explore other technologies as part of the solution design. The ideal candidate will be confident, solution-oriented, and able to deliver high-quality code, leveraging rapid prototyping to maximize solution benefits. You will be joining a team of 7 SITS Developers, 2 Testers, and working closely with the Registry function. The development team fits within the wider IT Team, consisting of DBA’s, a Solution Architect, and Support Officers. You will be reporting to the Lead Developer. Key projects will include: E:Vision enhancement work to improve processes from a user point of view and automate tasks when it makes sense. SAMS (Finance) integration of Flywire with SITS. Preparing and executing SITS upgrade. Some work around reducing the database size as per new character changes. Expertise in one or more SITS modules such as SAMS, admissions, progression, curriculum, etc. Application close date will be the 11th of February.
