The role will involve visiting patients in their own homes to carry out a full clinical test and dispense. The successful candidate must have a sympathetic approach and empathy as some patients will be elderly and frail. You will travel to various locations from your postal address and will be expected to see 6-7 patients a day.You will be working with the latest mobile technology:Portable digital fundus cameras Mobile slit lamp I-care tonometer Industry leading digital records system, which will also enable you to have full support or a second opinion in minutes from their senior optometrist team at the Head Office.In return you will receive an excellent salary package up to £74k per annum, with very achievable bonus potential plus a fully expensed company car, pension scheme matched up to 5%, full CET support, GOC fees covered annually, discounted eyewear and hearing products, three 'treat' days granted for 100% attendance, childcare vouchers, Private Healthcare, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
