About the Role Work as part of a team (or if necessary; individually) in the production of Nelsons' products. Work according to all necessary GMP and H&S requirements following Nelsons Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and to actively encourage this behaviour in other team members including temps. Develop technical and interpersonal skills and assist in the development of others. Assist in the training of operators. Manage changeovers and changeover projects to deliver maximum line efficiency. Assist in the validation of new and existing processes, the development of critical process parameters, and the development of packaging line SOPs. Complete all necessary production documentation including ERP system entries, reconciliations, and any necessary investigations. Effectively lead the production operation to which they are assigned and to achieve KPI targets. Ensure the maintenance of good housekeeping and cleanliness of the production area and equipment. Work with team members and Team Leaders to ensure and improve production efficiency and maintenance of quality standards. Report all issues to their Team Leader (e.g. machine and equipment faults, processes not followed). Requirements Adaptable, flexible, approachable, and demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude. Comply with all reasonable training requirements to work in the Production department safely and effectively. Previous experience with GMP in a manufacturing environment preferred. Excellent knowledge of production lines and processes. Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail. Ability to work with limited supervision and use own initiative. Good IT skills. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to recognise and work with good hygienic practices. Coaching and listening skills.
