This role is ideal for someone who is committed to making a difference and ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive. QualificationsHold QTS/QTLS and the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be within the first three years of a SENCO role). NPQSL and/or NPQH is desirable. ExperienceExperience working across the secondary age range, managing student discipline, and providing strong pastoral care. SkillsHighly motivated, energetic, and approachable leader with excellent relationship-building skills. KnowledgeStrong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion in schools with high levels of vulnerable students. Problem-SolvingAbility to identify challenges faced by students and implement appropriate support strategies. CommunicationConfident in engaging with children, parents, carers, governors, and colleagues.
