Oracle Architect - Installation, Integration & DBA | MUST BE DV CLEARED | Hybrid Overview:Are you an experiencedOracle Architect and Database Specialistwith a strong background in hands-on installations, integrations and environment upgrades? Do you thrive in complex, on-premise infrastructures and bring confidence working with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN and Red Hat systems? Our client, a key player in a critical national programme, is looking for a senior Oracle expert to lead environment upgrades and installations, bringing robust SME-level knowledge to drive stability, performance and future-readiness. What You'll Be Doing: Leading on theinstallation, integration and configurationof Oracle 19c environments (upgrading from 12c)Working directly with physicalRed Hat 8 servers and VMs(non-cloud environment)Troubleshooting complex installationsand performing partitioning, RAC and Data Guard configurationManagingperformance tuning , RMAN backup and recovery, and high availability solutionsSupportingdatabase migrationsusing restore/backup and config alignmentCollaborating with the lead architect to challenge and refine third-party design documentationProducing high-quality installation/configuration documentation that withstands technical scrutinyKey Skills & Experience (Mandatory): Extensive Oracle Architect / DBA experienceOracle 12c to 19cupgrade and installexperienceHands-on configuration frominitial boot to full integrationDeep understanding of: Oracle RACOracle Data GuardRMANPerformance tuningPartitioningBusiness Continuity Planning (BCP)Strong troubleshooting & debugging skillsExperience working innon-cloud / physical Red Hat Linux environmentsDesirable Skills: Ability tocritically review and challenge3rd party architecture/design documentsStrong documentation skills - creating installation/config guides that meet audit standardsWorking closely with technical leads and architects to align delivery with architectural intentWhy Apply?
