Our client, a key player in a critical programme, is looking for a senior Oracle expert to lead environment upgrades and installations, bringing robust SME-level knowledge to drive stability, performance and future-readiness. What You'll Be Doing: Leading on theinstallation, integration and configurationof Oracle 19c environments (upgrading from 12c) Working directly with physicalRed Hat 8 Servers and VMs(non-cloud environment) Troubleshooting complex installationsand performing partitioning, RAC and Data Guard configuration Managingperformance tuning , RMAN backup and recovery, and high availability solutions Supportingdatabase migrationsusing restore/backup and config alignment Collaborating with the lead architect to challenge and refine third-party design documentation Producing high-qualityinstallation/configurationdocumentation that withstands technical scrutiny Key Skills & Experience (Mandatory): Extensive Oracle Architect/DBA experience Oracle 12c to 19cupgrade and installexperience Hands-on configuration frominitial boot to full integration Deep understanding of: Oracle RAC Oracle Data Guard RMAN Performance tuning Partitioning Business Continuity Planning (BCP) Strong troubleshooting & debugging skills Experience working innon-cloud/physical Red Hat Linux environments Desirable Skills: Ability tocritically review and challenge3rd party architecture/design documents Strong documentation skills - creatinginstallation/configguides that meet audit standards Working closely with technical leads and architects to align delivery with architectural intent Why Apply?
