You will be responsible for carrying outgroundwork repairs and maintenanceacross our housing stock, ensuring ahigh-quality, efficient, and customer-focused repair service . Key ResponsibilitiesPerformexternal maintenance and repairs , including landscaping, pathways, driveways, car parks, bricklaying, repointing, and rendering. Maintain and repairboundaries , including walls and all types of fencing. Inspect, maintain, and repairdrainage systems , including surveys, excavation, and replacements. Carry outbasic multi-trade repairs , including plumbing, joinery, and patch plastering as required. Handle, store, and dispose ofmaterials and substancessafely. Maintain and updatecomputerised recordsand provide detailed reports. Work in accordance withHealth & Safety policies and procedures . Maintain and store allequipmentin good working order. Collaborate with other teams to ensure the completion of repairswithin agreed timescales . Participate in theemergency out-of-hours rotato provide 24/7 service coverage. About YouEssential Qualifications & KnowledgeNVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant construction trade OR extensive experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge ofHealth & Safety regulations . Skills & ExperienceProven experience ingroundworks , including excavation, laying/repairing paths, kerbs, and driveways. Experience indrainage work , including full surveys, unblocking, and replacements. Expertise inbrickwork , including repointing, bricklaying, and rendering. Experience erecting and repairingvarious types of fencing . Basic skills inplumbing, joinery, and patch plastering . Experience working insocial housing(desirable). Competent in usingcomputerised systemsfor work records. Personal Qualities & ValuesTeam player with apositive, can-do attitude . Self-motivated , with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Strongattention to detailandrespect for tenants' homes . Organised, adaptable, andresilientunder pressure. Additional RequirementsFull manual driving licenceis essential. Willingness to participate in theout-of-hours call-out rotato cover emergency repairs.
