About the Role: As anEarly Years Teaching Assistant (TA) , you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children inEYFS settings , working alongside experienced teachers to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences. You will assist in providingstructured play activities, literacy and numeracy support , and emotional and social development for young learners. Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate learning activities. Assist with phonics, numeracy, and early language development. Provide one-to-one and small-group support to enhance children's learning. Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. Promote positive behaviour management and support children’s social and emotional well-being. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to support children’s progress. Maintain accurate records of children's development and provide feedback to teaching staff. Requirements: Experience working within an EYFS setting in a school or nursery environment. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. A passion for working with young children, with a patient and caring approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies. Have anupdated CVand anenhanced DBSregistered to theupdate service(or be willing to apply for one).
