We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Team Leader to be based at our site in Sherburn In Elmet. The working hours areShifts, on a rotational basis: Monday to Friday 04:45 to 13:15 13:45 to 21:15 20:45 to 05:15 Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £13.60 per hr, in addition to an extra £2.73 ph when working between 1800-0600. We offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day: Lead a team of warehouse operatives safely, efficiently, and fully compliant with site policies and procedures. Supervise the operation, motivating and encouraging the team to perform to the best of their ability. Understand the customer’s requirements, updating on customer orders and providing general customer feedback as required. Maintain reports on productivity, including mitigation and opportunities to improve. Contractor calls out as required. Support the investigation of incidents as required. Ensure all processes and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment. What you need to succeed at XPO: Essential:Previous knowledge of working within a warehouse environment. Essential:Exposure to working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same, and we need you to think on your feet. Essential:Good knowledge of warehouse management systems & Microsoft packages. Essential:Supervisory experience or demonstrable experience of stepping up to cover a supervisory role.
