The Client My client is an institutionally backed Fintech business specialising in building cutting edge solutions for cryptocurrencies & digital assets. Their flagship was the first regulated custody solution for institutional crypto trading and following their series B funding round they are now looking at significant diversification of their commercial offering, with a specific focus on Staking. As such they are growing their software engineering team and are looking for an experienced individual with a strong knowledge of Java as well as experience of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. What You''ll Do The business is developing platforms to support the institutional adoption of tokenised assets. The platforms facilitate reduced friction, cost and latency over existing market services. The role will be instrumental in the design, development and ongoing production support of these platforms. Your core responsibilities will include: Designing and engineering the products, data structures and interconnects that the business develop. Production support of the product and its infrastructure including Azure, data feeds, live monitoring and issue remediation. Limited out-of-hours support may be necessary. Integration with exchanges, L1/L2 chains, financial intermediaries, data feeds, data repositories. Analysis of market requirements and formulation of project plans. What You''ll Need Strong experience with the Java Spring framework A solid understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology Experience in designing and developing enterprise web applications Experience with secure coding practices Experience with cloud development Experience with GitHub
