About Us Brio Digital are partnered with a major HealthTech consultancy looking for a skilled Software Architect to shape the application development strategy within brand new team. You will play a critical role in selecting the best approach for the product roadmap while working with cutting-edge technologies across UI, backend, cloud, and DevOps. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural decision-making for mobile app development, evaluating native vs. non-native solutions. Design and oversee the implementation of scalable and maintainable software architectures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and cloud engineers. Ensure high-quality code, security best practices, and performance optimisation across all systems. Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation. Key Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you should have experience in the following: Mobile & UI Development Strong experience with Android and iOS app development. Expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, CSS, ESLint, Prettier . Understanding of component design and design systems . Backend & Cloud Technologies Proficiency in Python-based REST APIs . Strong knowledge of AWS services , including ECS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudFront. Experience with monitoring tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. DevOps & Infrastructure Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions . Proficiency in containerisation using Docker . Strong knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools including Terraform. Experience with package management using npm . Code Quality & Testing Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as Trivy and Sonar Cloud.
