Software EngineerSalary:£55,000 - £70,000 Working Arrangement:Hybrid Location:United Kingdom (South West) Type:Permanent Java DeveloperLocation:UK Wide - Hybrid Salary:£55,000 - £70,000 Our client, a leading UK Cybersecurity consultancy, is currently seeking a Java Developer (UK Wide) to assist nations, governments, and businesses worldwide in defending against cybercrime, reducing risks, complying with regulations, and transforming operations. Responsibilities of a Java Developer:Complete software tasks as directed by the Software Development Team Leader. Design, code, test, correct, and document simple programs; assist in implementing software within engineered systems with limited supervision. Provide accurate estimates of development effort based on specifications. Analyze code defects logically and produce timely fixes. Ideal Candidate Skills:Extensive experience in Java, Spring/Spring Boot. JavaScript/React experience is desirable but not essential. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, REST. Experience with Microservices architecture. Systems administration, network security/engineering knowledge. Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
