Your Role – What You’ll Be DoingYou willtake the leadin supporting students’ wellbeing,empowering them to achieve their full potential . Your work will directly contribute to the continuedgrowth of our exceptional inclusion provision . This includes: Leading on mental health & wellbeing support– Deliveringone-to-one and smallgroup interventionsto help students overcome barriers to learning. Developing tailored wellbeing initiatives– Runningworkshops on resilience, mindfulness, and emotional wellbeingto equip students with lifelong skills. Working alongside senior pastoral staff– Collaborating with theDirector of Behaviour & Attitudes ,SENDCo ,Lead & Deputy DSLs , andHeads of Yearto drive a joined-up approach to inclusion. Providing academic mentoring– Supporting studentsin and out of lessons , focusing on revision strategies, study skills, and engagement. Acting as a trusted mentor– Offering aconfidential, unbiased listening service , signposting students to relevant internal and external services. Promoting a whole-school culture of wellbeing– Advising staff, creating student resources, and ensuring inclusion remains at the heart of our school. Supporting reintegration & behaviour management– Helping students transition back into education following periods of disengagement or personal difficulties. This is more than apastoral role —it’s aboutempowering students to take control of their future and flourish . Who Are We Looking For?We are searching for someone who is: Experienced in pastoral care, student support, or a related rolein education, youth work, or mental health. A skilled communicator , able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents. A problem-solver & innovator– Someone who thinks outside the box to engage and support students effectively. Passionate about student welfareand driven to create aninclusive, supportive school environment . Resilient & proactive , ready to tackle challenges head-on. Committed to professional growth , willing to engage in CPD opportunities to enhance expertise.
