You will also receive regular business updates and performance feedback.About You Our Optical Managers are crucial to our success, ensuring the team delivers high-quality patient service. You will oversee and manage the entire operation, including managing your team of Optometrists and Optical Assistants, overseeing compliance, reviewing sales forecasts and targets, and addressing customer queries. Every day is busy and fast-paced in an Asda Opticians.You will also handle clinic management and shop floor processes to ensure the department meets customer needs. Working closely with an Optometrist, you will coach and develop your team, so confidence in coaching is essential. Being organized and effective in time management is vital due to the varied responsibilities.You'll be:A fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOCOn track to meet the CPD statutory points requirementConfident in coaching othersAble to provide excellent customer and patient careDriven and ambitious to meet department targetsProven leadership skills in a fast-paced optics environmentOrganized and effective in managing your timeWhen applying for any Optical position, you must be registered with the GOC and have evidence of Right To Work in the UK. During the compliance process, you'll need to provide evidence of being on the NHS performer list or relevant health board accreditation, along with two clinical references.
