Reconstruct provides services to social care sectors across the UK, including Recruitment, Statutory Services, and Consultancy.Our ClientWe are delighted to be working with a reputable, regional Children's Residential Home Provider, in their search for a Regional Assistant Manager. With over 30 homes nationally, they are specialists in providing high quality, effective services for Children and Young People who have experienced complex trauma and abuse.The RoleAn exciting opportunity for someone with a proven track record of providing excellence in Childrens Homes. The Regional Assistant Manager will work in close connection with Regional Director, and Responsible Individual, to oversee 4 homes situated in Oldham and Bolton. This is a brand new position, for a growing organisation who are committed to developing further services in the future.Youll have a strong and dedicated team around you, to contribute to service delivery and transforming the lives of young people. All staff are professionally qualified, or working towards qualifications in therapeutic care practice, to enable them to support practical, physical and emotional needs of young people.Key Responsibilities & DutiesSupporting the RI to set clear expectations, objectives, and performance standards for each of the childrens homes within the region.Support the RI in monitoring the performance of managers and staff, providing regular feedback, coaching, and support.Conduct regular audits and inspections of childrens homes to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.Monitor the quality of the service, which is being provided in each home, including care and education.Prepare and submit regular reports on the performance, outcome and challenges of the childrens homes within the region.Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of managers and staff working in various childrens homes within the region.Provide ongoing training, guidance, and supervision to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality of care to childrenAttend meetings, training and conferences relevant to childrens home management and quality assurance, staying informed about any emerging practices and trends in the care sectorQualifications and ExperienceLevel 5 in Leadership and ManagementTo have Diploma Level 3 or equivalentPrevious experience working within a leadership or supervisory role within a residential child-care setting for a minimum of 5 years.Strong knowledge of regulations for childrens homesTo have capable computer skills, including experience with electronic documentation systemsExcellent organisation, problem solving and decision-making skillsTo be familiar with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices in residential childcareBenefitsHighly Competitive annual salary;Access to a career pathway, including access to professional qualifications;Comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, and the support of senior management;Quarterly attendance bonus, totalling 400 per annum (payable, after successful probation)Pension Scheme with the Peoples pensionHolidays - 33 days (inclusive of bank holidays)Mileage allowanceStaff referral scheme Up to 1000 bonus for staff referral, (after successful probation)Simply health cash back scheme which includes dental, optical and health plansFree access to well-being initiativesFree on-site ParkingWe are committed to equal opportunities in employment and service delivery.
