Join us as a Release Governance ManagerThis is an exciting opportunity for someone interested in working in an international environment to join our bank as we transform our architecture, and push forward with innovative solutions in various technologiesYoull be part of the release governance team and youll oversee the application releases and be responsible for the high-quality roll-out of the releasesIts a chance to work with various stakeholders and share your technical expertise within an agile, collaborative organisation, with a big focus on personal and professional developmentWhat you'll doAs a Release Governance Manager, youll assess the release quality gates, create the release governance reports and communication material, as well as establish and maintain evidence to satisfy audit controls and requirements. Youll also assist in defining the release governance target operating model, including process re-design, re-definition of quality controls and guidelines.Youll collaborate closely with delivery teams including project managers, testers and business representatives as well as with the colleagues from release, environment and cutover management.Youll also be:Monitoring scope of all releases by centrally reviewing delivery progress on regular basis.Acting as release gatekeeper by centrally reviewing delivery progress as per defined release gates to ensure high quality releasesGuiding projects and delivery teams through the release gatesCreating release governance reports and communicating to stakeholdersUnderstanding and managing cross-project or team dependencies and driving alignment activitiesResponsible for central communication towards all involved parties to successfully plan, coordinate and deploy bank wide releasesContributing to the release governance target operating model moving to more frequent releasesThe skills you'll needYoull be an experienced project manager in IT delivery projects with project management experience. In addition, youll be solution and service oriented, with the ability to take ownership of tasks. Youll be a self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritise and plan your work. Well also look for you to be a strong team player with a positive attitude.Youll also need:Expertise in release gate assessment and reportingKnowledge of Agile methodology and the software development lifecycleAnalytical skills and good attention to detailKnowledge of using JIRA and ConfluenceThe ability to work under pressure and take initiativeStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal stakeholders and customersExcellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to others
