We’re focused on delivering Earth-imaging solutions that will provide insights to tackle some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Job DetailsWe are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team, applying your expertise to accelerate our product to launch-ready. We are looking for someone who will collaborate closely with colleagues in our multidisciplinary core technical team and be instrumental in helping to deliver world-class solutions.As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will lead design tasks on various aspects of our satellites as well as design and execute test procedures for ensuring that the satellites meet their requirements.The position will be full-time, starting as soon as possible. Job ResponsibilitiesWe are a fast-paced startup, and thus we are looking for an adaptable, hands-on engineer. You will succeed if you are a self-starter who thrives on challenges and drives execution excellence.Day to day, your responsibilities will include:Taking functional specifications and turning them into detailed designs.Developing schematics, designing PCB layouts and generating and managing BOMs for multi-PCBA product designs in Altium DesignerProducing and implementing test plans, test protocols and test rigs to evaluate designs and verify product functionality against requirementsDebugging, testing and evaluating designs in the lab, and supporting integration of electronics into the product alongside other team membersWorking and communicating with vendorsJob Requirements~5+ years of industry experience, preferably in the space sectorExperience with working in multidisciplinary teamsSolid experience creating and executing test procedures for electronicsTest and measurement experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipmentA fundamental understanding of PCB layout techniques and standards, including experience of PCB prototyping and solderingUnderstanding of design for manufacture, test, cost and reliabilitySuperSharp is an early-stage SME based in Cambridge and part of the SATLANTIS group.
