Ensuring the efficient and cost-effective fulfilment of all Customer and Supplier requirements, while maintaining very high levels of stock accuracy.Key responsibilitiesInventory Management:Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across all locations.Conduct remote/online stock audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.Implement and improve inventory control procedures.Track and resolve discrepancies in inventory records.Manage the storage and organization of inventory.Logistics Coordination:Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and customers to schedule and track shipments.Prepare and process shipping documents, including invoices, and packing lists.Resolve any logistics-related issues or delays.Track and report on logistics performance metrics.Data Analysis and Reporting:Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and logistics performance.Maintain accurate records of all stock and logistics transactions.Communication and Collaboration:Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.Maintain clear and concise documentation.Qualifications and experienceEducated to degree levelPrevious experience in stock control and inventory management an advantage.Knowledge of Business Central an advantageKnowledge of ExcelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Person Specification Supply Chain, Logistics or Distribution experienceStock/Inventory ManagementBasic Import/Export experience preferred but not essentialKnowledge and skills Experience of Microsoft Business Central preferred but not essentialIntermediate IT skills: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerpointExperience working with ERP systems (Navision/Business Central/SAP etc.)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsGood organisational skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritise workload, multitask and work to deadlinesAbility to work on own initiative and with multiple stakeholdersFlexible to take on extra and varied tasks when requiredEnjoy working in a fast paced environmentProactive and quick thinking in solving problemsHave a positive attitude with a strong passion for what you doThis job description is not intended to be either prescriptive or exhaustive, but is issued as a general framework at the time of writing.
