SEN Tutor Location: Withernsea, East Yorkshire Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part-time, Flexible, Term Time only, Ongoing Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience and qualifications) from £26 to £35 GSL Education is seeking acompassionate and experienced SEN Tutorto work on a 1:1 basis withtwo students with Autismin the Withernsea area. This is a rewarding, part-time role, supporting students who are currently unable to access full-time mainstream education. About the Role as an SEN Tutor: Deliver personalised, engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of two students with Autism (Year 3 and Year 8). Provide1:1 tuition , twice a week, with a focus on building confidence, developing basic skills (e.g. English and Maths), and supporting emotional regulation. Sessions may take place at home (with parent/carer present), in-school, or an alternative setting based on student needs. Create apositive, consistent, and structured learning environmentto help build trust and engagement over time. As the Ideal Candidate, you should: Haveexperience working with students with ASCand/or additional needs. Be patient, nurturing, and understand the importance of routine, predictability, and sensory needs. Be able to adapt your teaching style to suit the individual students you work with. Have a background ineducation, SEN support, or tutoringQTS is desirable but not essential. Be confident working independently and managing student engagement.
