Birmingham is one of the largest Youth Justice Services in England and Wales. Our latest HMIP inspection in 2022 found that the Service had improved since its previous inspection in 2020, but there remains more work to do. The Service is on a significant development journey to support the achievement of better outcomes for children, victims, caregivers, and communities.
