Base pay rangeWe’re delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing e-Commerce company that’s placing cybersecurity at the core of its customer trust strategy. As part of their continued investment in digital security, they’re seeking a proactive Cyber Security Analyst to lead threat detection, response, and incident management efforts. The role offers a salary of £45,000 – £55,000, a strong suite of UK benefits, and flexible hybrid working Key Responsibilities Continuously scan and assess cyber security tools and dashboards for alert conditions. Act as a first line of response for lower-severity alerts, escalating complex incidents to senior staff. Examine logs across networks and systems to identify and classify potential cyber threats. Document and categorise events such as phishing or malware based on severity and risk level. Assist in developing dashboards and reporting tools for operational visibility. Recommend improvements in detection capability and incident response workflows. Skills & Experience Ability to self-manage workload and support a collaborative security team. Strong foundational knowledge of networking protocols and architectures. Practical understanding of domain services in Microsoft environments. Experience using and interpreting alerts from SIEMs, web filters, antivirus, and IDS tools. Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and associated security configurations. Familiarity with service desk and ticketing processes aligned to ITIL. Familiarity with the ATT&CK matrix and its use in incident analysis and response planning.
