Aerodynamics ManagerAre you an experienced leader in experimental aerodynamics ready to step into a key role with a cutting-edge aerospace organisation? Were searching for an Aerodynamics Manager to take ownership of day-to-day operations and help shape the future of aerodynamic testing and capability.This is a unique opportunity to lead a team of highly skilled professionals working at the forefront of high-speed aerodynamic research and development. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of technically complex test programmes from early planning to wind tunnel readiness.What Youll Be Doing:Oversee aerodynamic operations, managing workflow, resources, and project deadlinesEnsure the preparation of models and test cells meets operational plans and contractual milestonesCollaborate across departments to maintain alignment and smooth test executionInput into project planning and bid estimation, advising on resources and timelinesLead and support a team of operational staff, conducting performance reviews and progression plansOwn RAMS documentation and develop standard operating proceduresManage maintenance schedules for key equipment (mechanical rigs, electrical systems, etc.)Build a team skills matrix to support training, upskilling, and team resilienceChampion a culture of safety, efficiency, continuous improvement and operational excellenceIdentify and implement improvements in equipment, processes and working environmentsWhat Were Looking For:Proven leadership in an operations, engineering or technical environmentStrong planning and resource management skillsExcellent communicator, able to coordinate cross-functional teamsComfortable working under pressure and making informed decisionsPractical understanding of technical test equipment and processesHands-on experience in developing teams, procedures and continuous improvementAerospace or high-tech R&D experience preferredFor more information, or to apply, please contact Kieran Wilson
