We are currently recruiting a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fit Out Project Manager to join a dynamic business in Castleford. The company are an interior fit out contractor who operate in the retail shopfitting sector with a client list that includes Asda, Sainsbury’s, Marks & Spencer, Morrison’s etc... We are looking for a Project Manager with experience of running interiors fit out projects of various sizes. Experience in shopfitting projects and retail fixtures would be an advantage, but full training will be offered. You must have excellent organisational and communication skills, be able to manage a varied workload and work well in a fast paced and reactive environment. This is a key position in the business and requires an organised and proactive approach. You will need to work unsupervised and be effective in managing your own time and workloads. Travel and flexibility will be required as projects can be nationwide. You will oversee the planning, co-ordination and control of all projects assigned to you from inception to the completion of all snagging and will control project timescales, costs and progress and keep the senior management team informed of these. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: * Direct, plan, motivate and monitor the project teams * Produce scopes of works document from given brief or drawings * Plan and agree scheme phasing details with the design team * Continually monitor supplier quotations against rates * Attend and manage on-site scheme phases * Attend scheme design team meetings as necessary * Perform site surveys * Ensure KPI monitoring is completed weekly * Ensure Health & Safety is compliant at all times Required skills and experience: * Excellent time keeping and ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines * A passion for delivering a professional service and quality product * Ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, have good organisational skills and have a high attention to detail * Must have good IT skills - Microsoft skills including Excel and Project * Professional qualification in project management desirable * Experience of working on shopfitting projects
