Hose Assembler Temporary ongoing assignment Our client is a global manufacturing company, specialising in providing engineering solutions to an extensive list of high-profile automotive companies. As their production team continues to expand, our client is currently seeking a number of self-motivated, conscientious, and hardworking Hose Assemblers to join their facility in Leamington Spa. The Role:  You will be responsible for the fitting, assembly and testing of hoses and other components and will be picking and packing. You will be able to work both on an autonomous basis and as part of a wider team. Key Responsibilities of the Hose Assembler: Working to production requirements produced by the Supervisor or Manager Checking hoses for defects such as damage, flattening etc. and recording as appropriate Completing any paperwork as required Setting up and operating crimp machines, etchers, and testers  Working to requirements and dimensions shown on engineering drawings Picking and packing hoses Ensuring that safe working practices are adhered to in hose assembly and test area The ideal Hose Assembler Experience within a production or manufacturing environment Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and skills The ability to do regular manual handling The ability to work both individually and as part of a team Good communications skills (both written and verbal) Excellent attention to detail Working Hours and Pay Rate: This is a full-time opportunity 37.5 hrs working Monday – Friday on a weekly rotating shift pattern.  Week 1: 6:00am-2:00pm £12.72. p/h Week 2: 2:00pm - 10:00pm £15.27 p/h Hours 06.00-14.00 Monday -Thursday and 06.00 -12.10 on Friday 14.00 – 22.00 Monday to Thursday 12.10 to 18.20 on Friday Apply now for the role of Hose Assembler with a copy of your CV to discuss this position with a member of our team
