It is an exciting time to join the Paediatric Team at Walsall due to the expansion and progression of our service. The team is leading the way in progressing virtual wards, and a new team structure is creating a dynamic way of team working. Carry out delegated tasks including direct and indirect care. Demonstrate effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Maintain high standards in record keeping. Assist with patient observations and accurately record on PEWS chart. Support registered nurses with clinical treatments and investigations as appropriate, ensuring patient safety and dignity. Chaperone patients during examinations, maintaining privacy and dignity. Adhere to Trust Infection Control Policies. Person SpecificationQualifications (Essential)NVQ Health and Social Care Level 2 or equivalent, or working towards it. GCSE in English and Maths. Experience (Essential)Recent experience caring for children in a healthcare setting. Skills (Essential)Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills.
