BUSINESS FUNCTION:Finance/ITGRADE:ML1/SB1SALARY:£35,593 to £42,331 per annumROLE TYPE:HybridLOCATION:York 2 days per week with an expectation to travel to Leeds or Manchester when required.HOURS:37Are you passionate about delivering high-quality testing solutions in a fast-paced environment?We’re looking for an experienced IT Test Analyst to play a key role in ensuring our systems and applications are robust, reliable, and meet business requirements.This role offers the opportunity to work on major projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and apply best testing practices to ensure seamless deployment into live environments.What you’ll be doing:Define and execute test scenarios, scripts, and reports, ensuring high quality testing documentation. Provide testing expertise across functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and key stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Support live issue resolution, root cause analysis, and ongoing system improvements. Ensure all testing aligns with quality standards, with zero critical defects before go-live.About You:Proven experience as a Test Analyst, working closely with Developers, Product Specialists, and Project Managers. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Gherkin Syntax. Experience testing applications with multiple interfaces, APIs, and automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Cypress. Proficiency in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, TDD) with experience using Azure DevOps or Jira.
