That’s where you come in….Position DescriptionAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a CAD Engineer to work in the Product Development Chiller department. The role involves working closely with a team of mechanical, electrical, controls, manufacturing and quality engineers to design and develop the structural framework and packaging of new standard Chiller products from concept through to production manufacture whilst maintaining the existing portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesThe role consists of working as part of a team to develop new product design projects in accordance with APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and relevant SOM guidelines from concept through to full product launch. Producing drawings adhering to company, departmental and industry standards Creating 3D models, layout drawings and designing pipe-work Creating sheet metal manufacturing drawings of folded parts and assembly drawings.
