Job Summary: At Groundsman Tools, we are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Administrator to join our business. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in the everyday running of the business and will take the lead on all aspects of marketing activities and initiatives. The Marketing Administrator will work closely with other colleagues to contribute to the ongoing success of our company. This role would be perfect for someone who is looking for variety and enjoys juggling multiple projects and covering other departments as and when needed. We are looking for someone who has experience in a busy marketing environment with the ability to work both solely, and as part of a collective. The Role: As a Marketing Administrator for Groundsman tools, you will be responsible for: The growth and maintenance of the company website, including updating product listings, promotions etc. Managing and overseeing the company’s social media pages. Creating email marketing campaigns (using the Mailchimp software). Creating both electronic and printed marketing materials, including our quarterly promotional brochure (bargain blaster) and our extensive product catalogue. Work closely with the sales director using the company’s pricing tools, which requires a high competency of working with Microsoft Excel and Sage. Identifying any IT issues, troubleshooting and finding a solution for these issues (e.g. Sage issues, internet issues, generic computer issues). It is critical that you are not afraid of getting stuck in! Provide support/cover to the sales team as and when needed by processing orders, taking incoming calls, processing quotes and responding to email queries. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in a Marketing Administrator/Coordinator role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Solid understanding of social media platforms, content creation, email marketing and adobe software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express). Strong organisational and time management abilities – you must be able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Experience using Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel. Within a commutable distance of 20-25 minutes. Basic understanding of SEO. Familiarity with running and analysing paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads). Knowledge of B2B marketing principles. Experience using Sage50 Accounts (training will be provided). General understanding of common IT issues within a business and the ability to troubleshoot basic problems. Driving Licence. What We Offer: Remuneration: Basic starting salary of £25,500 - £30,000 per annum, dependant on qualifications and experience. There is the additional potential for the right candidate who is hard-working, shows initiative in their role and contributes to a good work ethic/atmosphere with a positive attitude. Holiday: 20 days paid holiday per annum plus bank holidays. Holiday is to be requested at the discretion of the candidate but confirmed as acceptable at the discretion of the management, before being scheduled in the office diary. Bonus Structure: We offer a generous uncapped team bonus structure which offers monetary rewards based upon both company turnover and gross profit target levels being hit and exceeded. Review Period: We propose that there is a review at 3, 6 and 12 months from the candidate’s start date. The situation at each review point considered, and progress/achievements discussed.
