Make an Impact within our Private Client Tax team at RSM UK Our Private Client Team (Family Business) works with individuals, trustees, partnerships, sole traders, and family businesses in managing their tax affairs, both on compliance and advisory matters. We collaborate across the firm to offer integrated services to owner-managed businesses and family offices, combining expertise in accounting, audit, and taxes. As an Associate Director in the Private Client Tax team, specializing in Family Business Tax in London, you will adopt a strategic and commercial approach to managing and developing client relationships and leading diverse advisory projects. You will ensure high-quality service to clients while managing a team, including reviewing work, providing training, workforce planning, and fostering an inclusive culture aligned with RSM values. You will collaborate with partners on planning projects and technical assignments and participate in business development. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining existing client relationships and acting as the first contact for potential clients; generating and converting new work with support from Directors and Partners. Leading advisory and technical projects. Developing new business and strengthening existing relationships within the team. Mentoring junior team members. Building relationships with other departments to identify and meet client needs. Briefing junior staff on client business and instructions; supervising work; providing on-the-job training. Our ideal candidate will have: CTA and/or ACA qualification or equivalent experience. Strong understanding of private client tax issues. Experience in client handling and project management. Ability to lead advisory projects and produce high-quality reports within budget. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing personal tax compliance and advisory projects, with confidence in relationship building. Interest in mentoring and developing junior staff.
