If you’re a cup above the rest, this could be your perfect pick-me-up!GXO is currently seeking a driven and talented individual for the role ofWarehouse First Line Managerto join our Nespresso contract, based at our flagship site atEast Midlands Gateway . You’ll be responsible for driving efficient operational performance on your shift while maintaining strong communications with the on-site senior management team.This position is being offered on a 6-month, fixed term contract basis. You’ll be working on aSunday to Thursdayshift pattern, and your hours of work will rotate weekly between06:00 – 14:00 and 14:00 – 22:00 . However, you will need to be flexible on occasion – this is logistics, after all!Pay, benefits and more:We’re looking to offer a salary of up to£31,854.00per annum (pro rata) and 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays – pro rata). You’ll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What you’ll do on a typical day:Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of your team, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development Facilitate communication through regular briefings, shift updates and continuous feedback to colleagues Supporting the operations managers in achieving the warehouse operational KPIs and service levels and driving improvement initiatives across the site Ensure that the company’s health and safety policies and obligations are adhered to, and that the operation meets all legislative requirements at all timesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Proven experience of leading an operational team in a fast-paced warehouse The ability to effectively lead, coach and develop your team Excellent communication skills, engaging your team, with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement Analytical and logical approach to problem solving, to support change management and continuous improvement on siteWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
