As aQuality Manager , you will be responsible for managing project quality arrangements for a portfolio of projects, including large complex EPC contracts. The Quality Manager will lead a team of quality professionals, providing a quality management service, and ensuring activities are in accordance with the integrated management system, Quality Policy, and Strategy. The role involves supporting the development of the site integrated management system for major project delivery. The Quality Manager must maintain independence to challenge management and act as the business's conscience. You will report to Russell Wallace and be based at the Springfields site in Preston. Management Systems:Ensure effective quality management systems meet stakeholder requirements and enable delivery to customer specifications. Communicate and implement the Quality Programme within your area of responsibility (on-site and off-site). Promote a quality culture through stakeholder engagement, communication, briefings, and visits to increase understanding and establish a successful quality culture. Assurance:Confirm that products, outputs, and deliverables meet specified requirements through certification and verification, including rejection of nonconforming materials or services. Investigation and Improvement:Develop, implement, and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to demonstrate delivery quality, identify deviations, and highlight opportunities for continuous improvement. Demonstrate the effectiveness of improvement programs. Records Management:Manage key business and project records in compliance with legal and contractual requirements. Supplier Management:Ensure suppliers understand and deliver according to Westinghouse quality requirements, including cascading specifications through the supply chain. Capability:Achieve and maintain competence levels through continued professional development and training, aligned with role requirements. Minimum qualifications include a degree in a relevant discipline (Quality, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience. Candidates should have good knowledge of the nuclear industry, regulations, and legislation, as well as expertise in Quality Management procedures, setting up quality systems, and familiarity with Design, Vendor, Construction, NEC3 Data Processes.
