As a Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy by connecting current and future business models and supporting the business architecture. You will act as a critical friend, challenging constructively to find fit-for-purpose solutions. You will collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, working alongside project teams and technical staff to support design, build, and delivery that meet user needs. The team The Business Analysis Service operates mainly within the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting various change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, enabling informed decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife, and promote sustainable development. Experience/skills Required We look for candidates passionate about the environment and climate action, demonstrating: Analytical thinking—ability to analyze complex data and processes for informed decision-making. Communication—strong verbal and written skills to convey findings effectively. Stakeholder management—experience managing relationships with projects, teams, and senior management. Project delivery—experience managing and completing projects within structured frameworks. Requirements gathering—experience in eliciting and documenting clear business requirements. Desirable Experience/Qualifications Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role. Relevant qualifications in business analysis. Proficiency in analysis tools and methodologies. Experience working with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
