Our space systems include satellites and components that have supported over 1,700 missions, including the James Webb Space Telescope, NASA Psyche Mission, Artemis I, Mars Ingenuity helicopter, and more.About The Role Neutron is a medium lift launch vehicle capable of delivering mega constellations, high-value payloads, and human spaceflight. As a highly reusable launch platform, Neutron aims to be cost-effective and reliable, leveraging Rocket Lab’s experience with the Electron program. The Neutron team is responsible for bringing this large rocket and its launch/test sites to life, including designing, testing structures and engines, and setting up launch pads across the US. Joining this team offers the opportunity to help launch a new large rocket for the first time.ResponsibilitiesFocus on pressurized tanks, unpressurized sections, and fairings of the S1 and S2 structures.Apply broad knowledge of composite manufacturing techniques and product knowledge.Work closely with internal and external customers on test campaigns at various scales.Contribute to cost reduction and lean production initiatives.Manage handling and logistics issues, balancing quick development with product specifications.QualificationsAdvanced knowledge of prepreg manufacturing.Experience with core bonding and splicing.Knowledge of resin infusion processes.Industry manufacturing experience.Basic IT skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Minimum 3 years industry experience.Additional Information If interested, apply now!
