The Product Support Specialist – Manual & Robotic provides clinical product support to end users along with guidance and assistance during Mako surgical procedures. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Demonstrate outstanding ethics as a Stryker Citizen. Treat customers and employees with respect, representing the company positively. Communicate essential benefits of products and their clinical applications. Act with integrity and deliver on commitments within required timescales. Construct a basic business plan with input from mentor/manager, with daily, weekly, and monthly planning in partnership with mentor and RSM. Develop rapport with customers, understand their needs, and use open questioning techniques to identify opportunities for the sales team. Understand multiple stakeholders in decision-making processes and ask appropriate questions to identify them. Work under close supervision, keeping supervisor informed regularly. Achieve sales targets and KPIs. Plan, prioritize, and execute activities supporting customer support and business growth. Support existing customers to maintain satisfaction and collaborate with the sales team and other departments. Develop strategies with customers to strengthen Stryker’s market position. Negotiate effectively with customers to ensure profitable, sustainable relationships. Monitor market conditions and analyze your area to identify opportunities and challenges. Address customer challenges and develop solutions with support from RSM/Sales Team. Participate in meetings to discuss organizational, developmental, and business issues, enhancing relevant knowledge and skills. Administer IT-based customer databases/CRM tools. Clinical/Technical Expertise:Provide front-line clinical and technical support before, during, and after surgeries. Train and guide surgeons and hospital staff in using Stryker’s Mako robot, including setup, intra-operative activities, and troubleshooting. Use proprietary software for pre-operative CT scan preparation, implant planning, and assistance. Independently troubleshoot technical issues or escalate appropriately. Partner with Field Service team to resolve issues and ensure maintenance. Build knowledge of implants, instrumentation, and robotic applications to become a trusted resource. Educate staff on clinical benefits and best practices for robotic surgery. Complete necessary training and obtain certification for robotic and manual procedures. Develop skills to cover complex primary and revision hip and knee procedures. Key Talents / Skill Requirements:Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
