As our in-house residential conveyancer you will handle the legal process primarily being the sale of new-build homes and the purchase of part exchange properties -managing contracts, drafting paperwork, conducting title checks and ensuring a smooth, stress-free move- for happy homeowners, all under one trusted brand. The role will include: Managing and running plot sales, part exchanges and purchases for such Group companies that are designated to you You will build relationships with the purchaser's solicitors, our Group Legal Department and regional operating companies Preparing individual plot documentation Dealing with part exchange transactions - title checking and reporting Monitoring the legal process as well as managing the transfer or lease process Dealing with miscellaneous property queries and other plot related property matters Carrying out AML checks Working alongside your peers to perform as one team Mentoring and guiding assistant conveyancers in the team so they can support you in the role What we need from you? Excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing, practice and procedure Previous experience of handling plot sales for a residential house builder (either in house or in private practice) would be advantageous It is essential that you are computer literate, have good social skills and a confident telephone manner You will be expected to work without secretarial support, need to be calm, organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines When you join us, the future is yours to explore.
