Removals Operations Supervisor – Greenford, Greater LondonAre you an experienced LGV driver looking to transition into transport administration? Our client is seeking a dedicated Removals Operations Supervisor to manage daily operations and ensure a seamless moving experience for their clients. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of scheduling and logistics within the removals industry.What You’ll Be Doing:Overseeing and organising removal teams to provide prompt and effective service.Managing the distribution of resources, scheduling, and logistics.Ensuring adherence to corporate policies and health and safety standards.Establishing a constructive team atmosphere while offering guidance and assistance to employees.Successfully responding to consumer enquiries and addressing operational problems.Monitoring vehicle maintenance and ensuring proper equipment usage.Tracking performance indicators and sharing important discoveries.Controlling inventory levels and guaranteeing that the required supplies are available.Collaborating with other divisions to maximise effectiveness.Helping with hiring, educating, and developing employees.Putting operational upgrades into practice to improve service delivery.Addressing any issues that arise on the job site and solving them immediately.What We’re Looking For:Previous experience in removals, logistics, or transport industry.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Excellent team management abilities to motivate and lead a diverse workforce.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.A valid UK driving licence (LGV licence would be an advantage).Interested?
