WERE HIRING VEHICLE MECHANIC / TECHNICIAN Location: Ringwood, Hampshire Salary: 28,000 37,000 (depending on experience) About Us Fitzroy Motor Co. is an independent used car dealership based in Ringwood. Weve been in the motor trade for years and have built a reputation for quality service and honest work. Were now looking for someone to take full responsibility for the mechanical side of the business. The Role This is a hands-on role where the work comes first. Youll be running the workshop, carrying out repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and working on customer vehicles. We need someone reliable, efficient, and capable of managing the job from start to finish. You'll be trusted to work independently and keep standards high. Main Responsibilities Servicing and general repairs across a wide range of vehicles Diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults MOT preparation and pre-checks Managing your own workload and keeping the workshop in order Dealing with customer vehicles in a professional and timely manner Liaising with the sales team where necessary What Were Looking For Strong mechanical background and hands-on experience Able to work independently with good time management Reliable, responsible, and focused on getting the job done right Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail Full UK driving licence Formal qualifications and MOT licence are a bonus , not essential What We Offer 28,000 37,000 per year (based on experience) Monday to Friday work, with flexibility required Possibility of occasional weekend work when needed 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension scheme Your own ramp and bay A stable, full-time position with responsibility and independence How to Apply To apply, please send your CV through the TotalJobs application system.
