About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Agency Teacher of Maths to join our team. As an agency teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, engaging students in the study of English, and ensuring that they make measurable progress. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who is looking for flexible teaching opportunities within a variety of schools. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in English across Key Stage 3, 4, and potentially 5, following the national curriculum and school-specific guidelines. Create and maintain a positive and productive learning environment, managing classroom behavior effectively. Assess, record, and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing appropriate feedback. Adapt lessons to meet the varying needs and learning styles of students. Provide constructive and supportive feedback to students to help them achieve their best potential. Collaborate with other teaching staff and support teams to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning. Keep up to date with developments in education, especially in the teaching of English. Key Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level. Strong understanding of the English curriculum and assessment frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment. Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to a high standard. A proactive and flexible approach to teaching and working within a team. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one). Desirable: Experience teaching English to GCSE and A-level students.
