7.5 TONNE DRIVERWORKING FIVE DAYS OUT OF SEVEN (ROTA PROVIDED)START TIMES: 04:0013.50 - 27.00 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Peterborough.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.To be considered for this role you MUST have a minimum of 24 months continuous commercial driving experience.As a 7.5T Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being program Hourly Rates of Pay (PAYE): Basic: 13.50Overtime after 8 hours: 20.25Saturday: 20.25Sunday: 27.00Bank Holiday: 27.00 Day to Day DutiesYour duties as a 7.5T Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering most building materials and home interior improvements products (not bathrooms and kitchens)Operate and drive various 7.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicate effectively with dispatch and customersReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential SkillsAs a 7.5 Tonne Driver you must: Be able to work as part of a teamHave a minimum of 24 months continuous experience driving Category C1 vehiclesHave no more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesBe able to use PDA (personal digital assistant)Hold a valid UK Category C1 LicenceHold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardBe able to speak and read a good level of EnglishHave excellent punctuality and time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsHave effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries will be beneficial Training Six-hour online training must be completed before attending assessmentDriver's Assessment will have to be completedAfter successful Assessment, there will be an on-job training Apply Apply today by clicking below JBRP1_UKTJ
