Crystal Electronics have an opportunity for an Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join our team and supervise the South sector of our National Engineering Team.Within this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the remote electrical team members, supporting the team by providing advice and guidance to our engineers, drive continuous improvement, helping to resolve any ongoing technical problems that arise and ensure engineers are working to the highest health and safety standards.Location On the road in the South area, travelling to different sites is part of the role, you will also be required to attend the Head Office on a weekly basis.Basic Qualifications Required Must have the following qualifications https://niceic.com/getmedia/de1845b7-dad5-4cbd-8f9e-d08d12679785/Acceptable-AC-QS-qualifications.pdf (in line with NICEIC guidelines)Salary & Benefits:Salary ranges from 50,000 to 55,000 per annum dependent on experienceBonus scheme for extra earning potentialFull time, Permanent Opportunity40 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 per week, weekend working required (mainly Saturdays) with a lieu day of your choiceWorking hours 8am - 5pm28 days annual leave including bank holidaysBranded work uniform & PPE providedCompany vehicle & Fuel card providedFull systems training & Career progression & internal development opportunitiesNEST Pension SchemeThe Role:Overseeing and supporting the electrical teamSupporting with technical adviceTake ownership of electrical issues working promptly to rectify themEnsure safety standards are understood, implemented, and maintained by all team membersInspecting and testing completed works and supporting on fault finding and problem solvingTravel within the engineering area will be required to support the teamAttending weekly meetings at the earls Barton Head office will be requiredDelivering work packages top a high standard in commercial and domestic settingsComplete work to the industry standardLead by example - solutions led, flexible, adaptable to our customers needsReporting and recording all health and safety issuesSkills & Experience Required:Team Management experience especially with remote teamsNICEIC specified qualifications for a Qualified SupervisorECS gold cardIdeally a minimum 10 years of experience as an ElectricianExperience working on residential projectsAbility to influence and drive positive attitudes and behaviors with regards to site Health and SafetyIT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and WordEssential knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements and Electrical Safe Systems of WorkExperience of supervising staff and 3rd parties is essentialPlease note all candidates are subject to relevant DBS/ Security checks either before or upon commencement of Employment.JBRP1_UKTJ
