Soi Dog Foundation are looking for a Major Gifts Officer, to join our newly created Philanthropy and Partnerships team. This role is focused on building meaningful relationships with supporters across the UK and US. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our vital work helping stray dogs and cats throughout Asia.About Soi Dog FoundationWe are the largest animal welfare organisation in Asia dedicated to helping stray dogs and cats. Our mission is to improve animal welfare in Asia, creating better lives for both animals and human communities, while working toward a society without homeless animals.The RoleAs Major Gifts Officer, you'll implement thoughtful communications and supporter journeys, personally connecting with donors to achieve meaningful impact. You'll identify potential supporters and create compelling cases that inspire giving, while maintaining relationship-focused communications through research, engagement, and stewardship.Key Responsibilities:Identify potential supporters through thoughtful research and digital outreachCreate and implement personalised communications and supporter journeysBuild and nurture relationships with supporters to enhance engagementSupport in-person connection opportunities Develop impactful written materials and communicationsImplement our high-value supporter programme alongside the P+P ManagerMaintain accurate relationship records and supporter journey planningYour Experience Includes2+ years of experience in relationship-focused fundraising rolesExperience facilitating contributions at the four-figure+ levelTrack record developing effective supporter communications and engagement programsPassion for animal welfare and Soi Dog's mission Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishCreativity, flexibility, and a structured, relationship-focused approachSkills in project coordination, strategic thinking, and relationship developmentAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with our global teamLocation & HoursThis is a full-time, contracted remote position based in either the UK or US, working with our international team across time zones. Some travel opportunities will allow you to connect with supporters and team members.
