You will play a key role in maintaining our fleet to the standards required by the Company, TfL, and the DVSA. Your role involves not only maximizing vehicle availability and improving standards but also influencing Health & Safety compliance, fatigue management, and employee wellbeing.The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering and vehicle maintenance procedures for large vehicles, preferably PCVs, along with knowledge of electrical engineering, bodywork construction, and basic stores procedures. The ability to obtain a Transport CPC if required is essential. Strong planning, prioritization, analytical, and decision-making skills are also necessary, along with an up-to-date understanding of Health & Safety legislation.Our garage operates a diverse range of buses, including electric, mirrorless, and hybrid models. You may have seen our buses around south east London, transporting our valued customers. As part of our engineering team, you'll ensure our vehicles are in excellent condition to serve the community effectively.
