Biffa is looking for an experienced Content Manager with exceptional writing skills to step into an existing role within the Strategic Communications team in marketing on a FTC to cover secondment. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a sector-leading organisation working at the forefront of sustainable waste management. You will have the opportunity to shape content and communications around vital policy developments in the UK. You will be responsible for owning the written word in marketing and you will be the custodian of Biffas Tone of Voice.Your core responsibilitiesInterview expert stakeholders to gain insight on key topicsUnderstand complex technical and legislative information and make them simple for audiencesProduce exceptional written content including long form thought leadership reports, insight articles, and social content.Produce a series of accessible policy guidance documents for a range of business audiencesManage document review process from concept to sign-off within a matrix stakeholder environmentBrief, collaborate and manage creative resource to deliver content across all formats including: short form video, marketing video, motion graphics and animation, infographics, social creative assets.Adopt all marketing department systems and processes including owning content management solution within marketing task management softwareAnalyse, report and improve collaborating with different teams across marketing to ensure measurable results.Our essential requirementsBachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field3 years of experience as a Copywriter or Content ManagerDemonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, content across digital and print platformsStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlinesExperience writing commercial content and lead generating content in B2B across the following channels: Blog/website/thought leadership/PRBiffa were changing the way people think about wasteAt Biffa, we love working with waste.
