Today we employ over 1,500 people in 16 country offices in Europe, Asia, the USA & Oceania - a global network blended with a local presence.Air Conveyance SupervisorIn this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the workload of Asendias Air Conveyances team, to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard and in line with the companys value proposition, assuring a quality service in a healthy work environment.With the ability to make good decisions, you will ensure that tasks are effectively delegated and handovers are completed at the end of every shift. The successful applicant must be security cleared for an airside pass and be in possession of a valid Level D Certificate. You must also hold a valid forklift licence, a full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. Your TasksCoordinate and lead the warehouse team, assigning daily duties and monitoring performanceManage transport bookings, including ad-hoc collections, and liaise with drivers and transport providersHandle Customs entry processes in line with regulatory requirementsCommunicate with airlines and resolve any delivery or documentation discrepanciesEnsure all forklift operators are certified, competent, and authorized to operate equipmentProvide hands-on support on the warehouse floor when operationally requiredEnsure rotational shift pattern is maintained, and that an appropriate handover is carried out at the end of shifts Maintain shift rotation schedules and ensure thorough handovers between shiftsOperate dispatching systems and Customs software proficiently (full training provided)Ensure strict adherence to all CAA security regulations and internal screening procedures, promoting a culture of vigilance and compliance in all security matters Experience & Demonstrable SkillsYou are honest, reliable and have a strong work ethicHave excellent attention to detail and take pride in your workYou will have a good financial understanding of the business activity, excellent English communication skills and are willing to follow manual and computer led tasksYou have shift flexibility (shifts will include Sundays)You constantly look for improvements and have a critical view towards the processes and systemsBe a team player who is willing to provide cover for other Operations management/supervisory team members when requiredYou have good organisational skills, and therefore can manage time effectively to complete workloads and meet deadlinesOur FactsOur mission is to excel in every interaction with our customers.
